Love

You hear things like "To live life and not love is no life at all" and "The best thing is to love and be loved in return", but is it true? I mean is it worth risking dreams to be with someone that loves you. To regret not doing something you love or to regret being with someone you love. I mean can we even use the word love. Is it a real emotion? Or is it one we invent when we feel too many emotions at once about someone? And what about lust? So many people confuse lust and love so how will we know when we encouter it? I mean sometimes it seems that we will never love or be loved by a person yet there are so many people who make it work. I guess coming from a family where my parents fight, I just can't see people being so enthralled by someone. I believe in love to a certain point, but I don't feel like it has to guide my life. Not to mention I am fifteen and even if I meet "the one" (which is highly unlikely)I am still wanting to see the world before I settle, so I probably never would attach myself to someone so tightly. Its kind of strange. I guess I always try to find an easy exit from anything that gets too close. Sad but true. Wow never realized that til now. Anyways guess I have been thinking way to much this week.
